It was strange how a story of only six pages managed to drag me in and make me feel like I was the village story telling at its best. The caravan leaves Ulthar that night, shortly before the townspeople notice that all of their cats have gone missing. For the cat is cryptic, and close to strange things which men cannot see. But, it was actually very good and I was quite satisfied with the ending.
